With a sound track record of successful roll outs of a range of services in Malaysia, REDtone has extended its market reach beyond the country by replicating its proven telecommunications service business model in China.

REDtone China’s operation, REDtone Telecommunications (China) Limited, is a collaboration with China TieTong Telecommunications Corporation Shanghai Branch Company, a major state-owned basic telecommunications operator in China.

Based in Shanghai, REDtone China has been offering long distance domestic and international discounted call packages to mobile phone subscribers in the republic and to fixed line subscribers in Shanghai since 2005.

REDtone China is 75% owned by REDtone with the Kuok Group holding the remaining 25% stake.
